Production Draft 1
|
Cover:
*Plan the fonts and sizes you use more carefully. Find fonts that are different but look good together. A good tip is to have the same font and size for all the puffs except for the anchorage text which should stand out on the page.
*Does your magazine have a slogan? How will the audience know that this is a new country magazine?
*The artist needs to appear bigger on the page.
|
Contents:
*You have many different fonts on the page – they need to be smaller and there needs to be more cohesion across them all. Have a look at some professional examples – they all keep the same font and size across the page.
*What are the different sections of your magazine?
*Some of your contents are very vague – tell me who the interviews are with and not simply ‘upcoming artists’.
| |
Article:
*Can you make the introduction to the article stand out more? Play around with the layout of the page to make it more interesting and draw the audience in.
*You need to edit the photographs more – they are quite dark. Use exposure, brightness and colour adjustments to make the images more attractive.
*There is room on the last page for a pull quote on the image.
